Graffiti can be found on many park benches, skateboard parks and alley ways. It is an inconvenience for the council or property owners to have to constantly clean or paint over the areas which have graffiti, often on a regular basis.
Some graffiti is more than just tagging names, gangs or symbols, it can be a detailed picture or logo, with a mixture of colours and messages with cool effects.
How do you view graffiti? Does it depend on the location or the material? What is your opinion? Art or Vandalism…
I think that Graffiti is a form of art where artist can express their feelings into what they create. As long as they have permission to draw or create art they could Graffiti on big walls so people can see them. However some people go around town tagging names and symbols on private property which is why people don't like it.
ReplyDeleteI think that Graffiti is vandalism because when your using a spray can on a wall that does not belong to you,it is against the law, even when you are doing it on your own property it is still illegal. If it was art,why don't they express the art on a painting or a piece of paper,so yes I think that Graffiti is vandalism.

i think it is both beCUSE IT DEPENDS ON WHERE IT IS LOCATED.
ReplyDeleteBUT ALTHOGH IT IS MOST COMMONLY SEEN AS VANDLISIM, IT DOES HAVE THAT EFFECT THAT MAKES IT LOOK COOL IF IT DOES NOT HAVE SWEAR WORDS IN IT.
The stupid person who tagged TM on the Telecom box outside our place is stupid. I want to write "stupid people place your tag here". Would this make me as bad as the tagger? What do you think? Every year the council spends thousands of ratepayers money cleaning up the vandalism created by these idiots. This is one of the reason our rates are so high.
