They are the age old pets which everyone loves and can be found in almost every home throughout NZ. They are fluffy and cute, cuddly and friendly, and are a ball of fun for all ages. They are your favourite pets, the cat and dog.
Which would you prefer to have as your ideal pet? Explain why you think a cat would make a better pet than a cat or vice versa. Can you convince me to trade in my cats for a dog? (Maybe I will have to have both! )
Cats for the win. In my opinion cats are best they are small and cuddly dogs are just big and buff they grow and take up sooo much room and they shed there hair, my friend has a dog but it is a really small and cute one but he sleeps with it and you wake up half way through the night with dog hair in your mouth. its really not nice. getting back to my point about how great cats are thare are small so you dont have to feed them much but dog are big and you have to feed the heaps when you add it up it cost way more to fed a dog then a cat. but you can get small dogs that dont need to eat much and are cute and cudly. cats are always in the animal heath centre with a sign that says free to a good home but dogs always cost money normaly heaps of money and dogs you have to make or buty a giant kennel worth 3-5 hundred dollars! but a cat you only need a box with a pillow and a blanket so i think you get my point cats are way better then dogs!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI think dogs a way more cooler than cats because cats scratch, aren’t as well behaved and don’t do anything useful, as with dogs they pull people across the snow, they help blind people, they are used in the police force and you can play games with them, like fetch.
I think a dog would be the best if you pick out of a dog or cat because you can teach them to do lots of different stuff like: a pig dog, a duck retriever, a guard dog, a deer dog, a sheep dog, a guide dog, a police dog and a fox dog. You can not teach a cat to do all this. You are the dogs master but the cat is your master. So that is why I think dogs are better.

I think cats are better. I think they are better because cats don't poop all over the lawn like dogs do. Cats are easier to take care of because all you have to do is feed them and then they take care of themselves for the rest of the day. You don't have to bath or walk a cat, but with a dog you have to do both of these things.

ReplyDeleteI think cats are way better they are just so cute!!! you can just pick them up they won't be to hevey well some anyway they can sleep with you and not take up to much room some anyway i recken cats are just more cuddy and furry they are CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteI think cats are WAY better than dogs because you don't have to take them for a walk all the time and cats cuddle up with you at night but dogs would be real heavy if they did that!!

I've never had a dog as a pet but I have 2 cats at home. When they are kittens they are cute and playful. When they are older they like to cuddle on your lap and sleep on your bed. They will catch mice. Cats look after themselves,you don't have to take them for a walk everyday and they are cheap to feed. Cats are quiet and don't wake the neighbourhood with their barking. Cats bury their droppings so you don't have to clean up after them.

the cats names are blackly, Charlie Rex and Uni the dogs names are Sheba,bowzer, Holstein and angle.i am on both slide.
I actually have both but my dog is really old. He can't really play but my cat is way more energetic and playfull. She plays with me and sleeps on the end of my bed which is why I think cats are better because they are cute and cuddly.

Ithink cats are better beacuse you dont have yo train them and they look after there selfs.I raekon dogs are good beacuse they can train them to guide people if they are blind
ReplyDeleteI think dogs are better because they are more cute then cats.You can train them to do lots of things like to get the cows in,they can be guide dogs witch are very important to the blind,the con also sniff out drugs at the airport.So thats why I think dogs are better then cats,
ReplyDeleteI think a goat is the ideal pet! I have cats and they are cute and nice to cuddle, but they don't really play like a dog. Dogs do require a lot of looking after and need to be walked etc. A goat looks after itself, doesn't need walking, but talks to you like a dog does. A goat can learn tricks like a dog and will play fight like a dog. Another bonus is that if you get tired of your goat you can just eat it!!!! (LOL, I'm just kidding, I would never eat my pet goat...though i did eat my pet pig!)
